Google User Data
A business administrator may connect one Google Calendar to Roniversal so that installation appointments and the WhatsApp reminders built on them stay in sync. This section describes exactly what that connection allows.
Scope we request
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar
This scope grants both read and write access, and we use both. On the connected calendar only, the Service:
- Reads events — start and end time, title, description and attendees — to display the appointment schedule and to send WhatsApp confirmations and reminders
- Creates events when an installation appointment is booked in the Service
- Updates events when an appointment is rescheduled or its details change
- Deletes events when an appointment is cancelled
Limits on use
Google user data obtained through this integration is used solely to provide and improve appointment scheduling and reminder features. It is never used for advertising, never used to train machine-learning or AI models, and never sold or transferred to third parties. We access only the calendar an administrator explicitly connected, and no other Google service.
Storage and retention
Connecting a calendar gives the Service a Google refresh token. It is encrypted before being written to our database and is used only to renew access so that reminders continue to be delivered while no administrator is signed in. Calendar event content is read on demand and is not copied into a long-term archive; the appointment records we retain are those created inside the Service itself.
Revoking access and deletion
- • An administrator can disconnect the calendar from the Appointments screen. This tears down the calendar notification channel and deletes the stored refresh token immediately.
- • You may revoke access at any time from https://myaccount.google.com/permissions.
- • To request deletion of any remaining data, contact us at the address below.
